Privacy Policy for Bloom

Effective date: 1 June 2026 · Last updated: 2 June 2026

Bloom (“the app”, “we”, “us”) is a fertility and menstrual-cycle tracking app. This policy explains how the app handles your data. Bloom does not collect, transmit, or share any of your data. Everything stays on your device.

1. The data you enter

Bloom lets you record health information, which may include:

Bloom stores all of this locally on your device using Apple’s on-device database (SwiftData). It never uploads any of it to us or to a third party.

2. What we collect: nothing

Because we never receive your data, we cannot see it, sell it, share it, or hand it over.

3. Notifications

If you enable notifications, Bloom schedules local reminders (such as fertile-window alerts and logging reminders) on your device using Apple’s local notification system. It generates these notifications on-device and sends them through no external server.

4. Device backups

If you back up your iPhone (via iCloud Backup or a computer), your Bloom data may be included in that backup, the same as other app data. Apple and your device settings control those backups, and Apple’s Privacy Policy governs them, not ours. You can exclude app data from backups in your device settings.

5. Data you export

Bloom lets you export your data as a file at your request. Once you export and share a file, it leaves the app’s protected storage and is under your control. Be mindful of where you send it.

6. Children’s privacy

Bloom is not directed at children under 13, and it collects no data from anyone.

7. Your rights and control

We hold no copy of your data, so we have nothing to delete or return on request.

8. Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, we will update the “Last updated” date above and post the revised policy at the same URL. We will note material changes in an app update.
